A romaine lettuce recall for Alaska. True Leaf Farms issues a recall for its chopped romaine lettuce because of possible lysteria contamination.
The 2 pound bags of romaine have the use by date of September 29th, 2011 the bag and box code is B256-46438-8.
There have been no reported cases of illness, however, lysteria is a potentially fatal disease. Symptoms include high fever, severe headaches, neck stiffness and nausea.
