Statistics show every year nearly 40-thousand babies are born with a heart defect and more than 40 percent need heart surgery to survive.

Your Alaska Link would like to introduce you to a little girl who's survived because of one of these surgeries and a family who knows what it takes to raise a million dollar baby.
