An official with the Virginia Parent-Teacher Association resigned after she was recorded on camera saying opponents of critical race theory can “die.””Today, the Virginia PTA executive committee requested and received the resignation of Michelle Leete, who served as Vice President of Training,” a Saturday statement from the association reads. “The actions & rhetoric of Ms. Leete & all of the like-minded partisan supporters of the SB are deeply disappointing. It evinces a deep lack of concern for children & parents, particularly where the wellbeing of children & families clash with political considerations,” a tweet accompanying the statement reads. The resignation comes after Leete was recorded at a rally Thursday denouncing opponents of critical race theory and saying, “Let them die.” ‘LET THEM DIE’: FAIRFAX NAACP, PTA LEADER ATTACKS PEOPLE WHO ARE ‘ANTI-EQUITY,’ ‘ANTI-SOCIAL JUSTICE'”Let’s deny this off-key band of people that are anti-education, anti-teacher, anti-equity, anti-history, anti-racial … anti-opportunities, anti-help people, anti-diversity, [inaudible], anti-science, anti-change agent, anti-social justice, anti-health care, anti-worker, anti-LGBTQ+, anti-children, anti-health care, anti-worker, anti-environment, anti-admissions policy change, anti-inclusion, anti-live and let live – let them die!” Leete said in a video. Her comment was met with a round of applause from the audience gathered at Luther Jackson Middle School in Falls Church. “Don’t let these uncomfortable people deter us from our own march forward,” Leete, who is also Fairfax County’s NAACP vice president, said of counter-protesters. VIRGINIA TEACHER SAYS COLLEAGUES ‘AFRAID’ TO OPPOSE CRITICAL RACE THEORYThe Virginia PTA added in its statement that it did not condone her language and said the group “upholds values of respect, collaboration and accountability.”NEW YORK MOTHER RIPS PROPONENTS OF CRITICAL RACE THEORY: ‘THEY’RE THE RACISTS'”While not speaking in her role within Virginia PTA, we do not condone the choice of words used during a public event on Thursday, July 15,” the statement reads. The Fairfax NAACP chapter did not immediately respond to Fox News’s request for comment on Leete’s ousting. The resignation comes as parents across the nation have gone viral in videos denouncing the critical race theory, including in New York, where one mother told a school board to stop teaching the “communist” lessons. The San Francisco archbishop said traditional Latin masses will continue in his diocese despite Pope Francis restricting the celebrations on Friday. “The Mass is a miracle in any form: Christ comes to us in the flesh under the appearance of Bread and Wine. Unity under Christ is what matters. Therefore the Traditional Latin Mass will continue to be available here in the Archdiocese of San Francisco and provided in response to the legitimate needs and desires of the faithful,” Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco said. POPE FRANCIS REVERSES BENEDICT, REIMPOSES RESTRICTIONS ON LATIN MASSThe announcement comes after Francis issued a papal decree restricting the celebration of traditional Latin masses, which is a reversal of one of Pope Benedict’s XVI’s signature decisions, by arguing Benedict’s reform sparked division in the church.Priests must now ask their bishops for permission to celebrate the traditional Latin mass, which greatly differs from the modern interpretation that was introduced in 1970. Other changes include bishops ensuring that the faithful taking part in traditional Latin mass do not deny the validity of Vatican II, and finding alternate locations from regular churches for the old Latin mass to be celebrated. POPE FRANCIS RETURNS TO VATICAN 10 DAYS AFTER SURGERYThe pope’s reversal from his predecessor was swiftly hit with pushback from traditional Catholics who labeled the move “disappointing.” “This is an extremely disappointing document which entirely undoes the legal provisions,” of Benedict’s 2007 document, said Joseph Shaw, chairman of the Latin Mass Society of England and Wales.”This is an extraordinary rejection of the hard work for the church and the loyalty to the hierarchy which has characterized the movement for the Traditional Mass for many years, which I fear will foster a sense of alienation among those attached to the church’s ancient liturgy,” he added. Editors of Rorate Caeli, an influential traditionalist blog, also tweeted: “It is the most stinging rebuke by a Pope against his predecessor in living memory—there has never been anything like it.”Cordileone also isn’t alone in his feelings toward the traditional Latin mass, with Bishop Edward Scharfenberger of Albany saying: “With respect to the celebration of the Roman Liturgy prior to the reforms of 1970, I wish to reiterate the great pastoral and spiritual good that has been experienced by those who have been and who are engaged in this form of the Liturgy. I would also like to acknowledge the many valuable contributions made to the life of the Church through such celebrations.”CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APPFrancis, however, argues the reversal is an opportunity for healing and unity among the faithful after Benedict’s 2007 document on the traditional Latin mass. He added that he was saddened that the celebration of the Latin Mass was “often characterized by a rejection not only of the liturgical reform but of the Vatican Council II itself, claiming, with unfounded and unsustainable assertions, that it betrayed the Tradition and the ‘true Church.”
Conservative commentator and author Mark Levin slammed the Biden administration for its relationship with Silicon Valley in its bid to halt the spread of misinformation concerning vaccines. “[The Biden administration is] working with Facebook and other social media platforms, and telling them what they want them to do. They can call it disinformation, they can call it whatever they want, that’s quite beside the point,” Levin said Thursday on his radio show. Social media platforms are “doing the work of the government, it is doing the work specifically of the Biden administration and the Democrat Party,” he added. His comments came in response to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki and Surgeon General Vivek Murthy detailing the White House’s relationship with Facebook on Thursday to stop misinformation on vaccine safety. Psaki doubled down on the administration’s relationship with Facebook on Friday and said it is “making sure social media platforms are aware of the latest narratives,” and even added that if a user is banned from one platform “for providing misinformation” that user should be banned from all others. “We don’t take anything down. We don’t block anything, Facebook, and any private sector company makes decisions about what information should be on their platform,” Psaki said in defense of the relationship and reported this week that 12 people are to blame for 65% of anti-vaccine misinformation on social media platforms. CRITICS SLAM BIDEN ADMINISTRATION’S REPORTED PLAN TO MONITOR VACCINE MISINFORMATION IN TEXT MESSAGESLevin, however, argued that Facebook is not a private company due to this relationship. He added that Psaki’s comments also make former President Donald Trump’s lawsuit against Big Tech a “slam dunk,” and said he hopes Trump’s lawyers were listening and to take note that the current administration is telling Silicon Valley “what they want them to do.””The Biden administration at multiple levels – senior staff, among others – are working with Facebook and other social media platforms to identify misinformation and thereby to sanction the misinformation and censor the social media posts, and to spread information. It can no longer be said that it is an independent business, conducting its own business,” Levin said. President Joe Biden argued, however, that misinformation on social media platforms was the matter of life and death, accusing the tech companies of “killing people” by allowing misinformation to remain on their platforms. “I mean they really, look, the only pandemic we have is among the unvaccinated, and that’s — they’re killing people,” Biden said Friday on the South Lawn of the White House.PSAKI SAYS ADMINISTRATION IS WORKING WITH FACEBOOK TO LIMIT MISINFORMATIONDuring Levin’s show, he specifically took issue with Psaki saying the federal government has “increased disinformation research and tracking within the Surgeon General’s office. We’re flagging problematic posts for Facebook that spread disinformation.” Levin responded that the government is “tracking you if they don’t agree with you.””They’re collecting information if they don’t agree with you. They have adapted and they are out front now that they are using police state tactics against freedom of speech and speech generally,” he said. MSNBC GUEST SUGGESTED ‘ANTI-VAXXER’ MOVEMENT IS WHITE SUPREMACY TARGETING COMMUNITIES OF COLOR The conservative host also noted that members of the Biden administration, such as Vice President Kamala Harris, resisted the vaccine when the Trump administration first began rolling it out and are now working to censor people who are doing the same. “Biden and Harris, and their ilk opposed the vaccines early on they dismissed them. They said they were politicized. Remember? I remember.””Remember how many people in the media, and Big Tech rejected the idea that the virus may have been leaked from the lab and Wuhan?” he asked, referring to Facebook outright banning posts last year that discussed the theory that the virus came from a Chinese lab. CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APPThe Wuhan lab theory was largely panned as a conspiracy before it regained traction in the mainstream this year, with Biden ordering a review of the theory and the World Health Organization acknowledging it was premature to discount the idea. “Politicians in government working with liberal Democrats who control these massive platforms censoring misinformation. Isn’t that amazing? The same ones that promoted Russia collusion, the same ones that silenced the New York Post when it came to Hunter Biden,” he added. Facebook did not immediately respond to Fox News’s request for comment on Levin’s remarks.
San Diegans are asking police and city officials to do more to control random attacks by homeless people in parts of the city. “Walking through America’s Finest City shouldn’t feel like you’re in ‘The Walking Dead,’” resident Aislinn Fava told NBC San Diego.Fava hasn’t made it beyond the sidewalk of her apartment building alone since a homeless man attacked her three weeks ago. One of the most outspoken Jeffrey Epstein accusers said Ghislaine Maxwell was a “tyrant” with the convicted sex offender’s reported victims and was still in love with him despite his “obsession” with young girls. Accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre said Maxwell “could be a tyrant, often glaring at her whenever she became distracted from her ‘work.’ It was clear to Virginia that Maxwell was in love with Epstein. But Epstein and Maxwell rarely slept together or shared intimate moments, like holding hands or kissing,” according to excerpts of a new book, “Perversion of Justice: The Jeffrey Epstein Story,” which will be released on Tuesday. “Virginia said this was because Maxwell was never able to satisfy Epstein’s insatiable appetite for girls. Maxwell came to accept his obsession as long as those encounters remained purely sexual,” the excerpt says. Brown, who has written extensively on Epstein, and details that Giuffre met Maxwell and Epstein at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago country club in 2000 when she was 16. Maxwell reportedly approached Giuffre at the country club and asked her if she was a masseuse. Giuffre, using the nickname “Jenna,” said she hoped to one day become a masseuse, prompting Maxwell to offer her a job interview to work for Epstein. “Maxwell suggested that Virginia meet [Epstein] to apply for the job. Virginia was skeptical, pointing out that she didn’t have the proper training. But Maxwell assured her that she could learn on the job, noting that it looked as if Virginia was serious about her vocation—based on all the sticky notes she could see poking out of the anatomy book in her hands. She gave Virginia her address and phone number. ‘Why don’t you come by after work?’ Maxwell left, with a cheery, almost motherly goodbye,” an excerpt of the book says. Maxwell showed Virginia some techniques, starting with Epstein’s feet, and then moving to his calves, instructing her to use upward strokes to push the blood up his legs,” the book says.

The federal prosecutor investigating Hunter Biden’s taxes reportedly waited until after the election to seek search warrants, which stalled the public from finding out about the probe. Delaware’s U.S. Attorney David Weiss began his probe into the president’s son in 2018, but decided last summer to hold off on seeking warrants or issuing grand jury subpoenas in a bid to not alert the public during an election cycle, Politico reported Friday. “It was a close call,” one anonymous person who is familiar with the investigation told the outlet. “That case has way more credibility now.” GOP SEEKING WHITE HOUSE DOCUMENTS ON BIDEN FAMILY MEMBERS TRYING TO ‘PROFIT OFF THE PRESIDENCY’ Weiss is a Republican who was appointed to his position on a permanent basis by former President Donald Trump in 2018 on the recommendation of Delaware’s two Democratic senators. Trump’s office did not immediately return Fox News’s request for comment on the matter. Weiss began investigating Biden’s business dealings with China and Ukraine in 2018, as well as possible money laundering. He then turned his attention to whether Biden paid taxes on all of his income, Politico reported. By the time investigators were ready to issue grand jury subpoenas and search warrants, election season was in full swing and Weiss reportedly feared the public knowing about the investigation and it would become politicized.
